Growing Sunflowers

    A morning on the second week since the sunflowers bloomed, there emerged few visitors. Perhaps they had moved in a few days ago; who knew!

 One of them was the Green lunx spider (tamil: ---). A predator of many a crop eating insects, including flies, bees, wasps, grasshoppers, and other arthropods. They are eaten by other larger spiders and birds.

 

 

 

 

 

Camouflaged so well that I barely noticed them in the first glance.  It is quite amazing how they knew there were sunflowers growing here after so many years.
